When I woke up this morning, I declared it “60′s Girl Group Thursday”. I don’t really know why but I figured that was the direction I was headed towards. Well, as usual, I came to a fork in the road. One way was the poppy girl group and the other way was gritty garage rock. I decided to switch gears the minute I started listening to HolySexyBastards self titled album. Their music is a little gritty, a little rough and a lot of face melting garage rock. I even felt a slight amount of a 60′s style influence, the kind of music you you would hide from Mom and Dad because if they found it you would get lectured on the “dangers of rock and roll”. Well, tell Mom and Dad to take a hike. @LeahLovecat
