‘Spinal Fluid’ by Mallory Sanger (December 1, 2011) *
For those who don’t know, Mallory Sanger is the offspring of the pregnant monster, Flowers for Reagan. Mallory is more comprehendible, but of course, cannot escape genetics. With the same sort of psychotic take on “what music is“, ‘Spinal Fluid’ almost feels like the reluctant compromise needed for the general mass approval. This clash, this war, is an essential part of our current music culture.
