On Yr Side (Best New Music)

‘On Yr Side’ by Slow Magic   (United States) *

Proving once again that indeed you can break through, Slow Magic sits on the verge of global recognition.  Upping the social state constantly, this electronic producer has transformed the game without the attention desperation seen in so many other DIY acts.  Slow Magic releases, and you listen, period.  Ego tripping through the sweater lead sounds, ‘On Yr Side‘ is a mesmerizing track that requires a fluidity of spirit previously misconceived on an audio level.  @Dingusonmusic

Slow Magic Announces New Album

Today was full of Dingus classics announcing new albums.  Here is the promo for Slow Magic’s 8 track release.  As deserved, the DIY superstar is getting the re-mastering treatment from LebensStrasse Records.  If you haven’t heard him/her before, here’s my personal favorite:

‘☾’ by Slow Magic   (November 11, 2011) *

I can’t imagine, at this point, Slow Magic releasing a track I didn’t love.  And, just to prove he’s not done innovating on his own sound, we give you ‘☾’.  I’m gona just call it ‘moon’ and leave it at that.  Just when I thought I was done posting for the day…

Feel Flows

‘Feel Flows’ by Slow Magic   (November 11, 2011) *

Slow Magic takes a step back and presents a more patient single that, although remaining sparse, keeps the epic levels at eleven.  ’Feel Flows’ is a haunting track that flutters through an enticing arrangement of synths with the SM trademark.  If you don’t know Slow Magic yet, it’s the recently standing anonymous internet project, that really, very little is known about.  Mysterious video included.

Too Much to Lose (Slow Magic Remix)

‘Too Much to Lose (Slow Magic Remix)’ by Sun Glitterers   (October 3, 2011)

Back to back remixes here on Dingus, this time coming from Slow Magic (a true diy hero).  His remix of the Sun Glitterers’ (yes, I looked them up, they’re awesome) ‘Too Much to Lose’ comes with his trademark feeling (the feeling of taking a bunch of acid and going surfing in outer space).  So grab your headphones (not those piece of shit apple ones) and drift.

Slow Magic

▲ by Slow Magic   (August 1, 2011)

After a single like ‘Sorry Safari’, a producer’s got out attention.  Now we’re happy to announce the release of Slow Magics debut EP.  Super chill, super relaxing and perfect for pretending you’re at the beach while you’re really sitting at you day job.  Cheers

Sorry Safari (Sunday’s Best)

‘Sorry Safari’ by Slow Magic   (July 7, 1977)

‘Sorry Safari’ feels like Royksopp but plays like Moby.  With a tracking that force smiles, Slow Magic grabbed our attention immediately.  The parts are so flawless that you long for the repetition; the most minor variance worthy of praise.

Well, I love the title ‘Sorry Safari’ so I clicked on the link, looked at the bandcamp page and hit play.  Normally when I read “chillwave’ as a tag im utterly confused, but this is what I hope the term grows to mean.  On a side note, does anyone know where to download the new Vondelpark?
