Undoubtably, Scrap and Love Songs Revisited shows a more somber, more depressed and less emphatic Aaron Maine. Slowing down and certainly touching on more serious issues than his previous two releases, this November release is a change from the fist pumping we’ve been doing around here. Drawing on that saddened, twisted, ‘Jesus Christ was an Only Child’ type mentality, Maine becomes a singer, a poet in his own right while addressing a new aesthetic.
