Real Life Color by Magic Man (January 25, 2010) *
It’s been a year, but Real Life Color sounds as pointed as anything. With embellished synth grafts and heartfelt frontsmanship, Magic Man has a profound way of injecting a bit of the existential into its pop repertoire. Layering like Annuals, and without reserve, ‘Darling’ may be my favorite track off an album that’s pure gold. There is an undeniable urge to sing and dance always present.
