Step Out by Racket Club (September 27, 2011)
‘Step Out‘ is a very simple track and that’s what makes it so appealing. It a keeps it’s consistency and never becomes over-thought. It’s a sweet and genuine pop song that never succumbs to an excess of synth or vocals. It makes me believe that not everything has to be doused in extravagance. Racket Club prove the formula that simplicity equals beauty. It’s a forgotten concept but I would love it if everyone would begin to recognize it’s significance. I have listened to ’Step Out’ quite a few times by this point and I’m finding myself enjoying it more with every repeat. Lovecat
