Especially in the DIY realm, a lot of artists are still in development and shouldn’t be judged so thoroughly but with the accessibility of music on the internet, it’s out there for the vultures to pick apart. STONE COLD FOX are not that band. The full package; a tightened, well-polished indie-pop sound similar to The Walkmen, great production, and a work ethic to surpass all lazy indie rockers in their periphery. The latest single released, ‘Seventeen’ is exactly that song for infinite HypeM hearts, facebook shares, and retweets galore. It is honesty that does it for music lovers nowadays, shuffling through track after track in the monotonous playlist of life, and this is a band that fans can believe in.
