Rise & Downfall by Marz the Superior (April 2, 2012) *
It’s been a while, and I’ll be the first to admit we missed a few tracks, since we’ve checked in with Marz the Superior. His latest full length, Rise and Downfall, is a true hip-hop gem. Intelligently spoken, Marz’ vocabulary extends past peon grasp, sure to stimulate the academic while still speaking true to personal sentiment. Dingus

‘Intimate Friends’ by Marz the Superior (July 22, 2011)
‘Intimate Friends’ starts as a smooth R&B love song, full of poetic device and ever intense on the rejection phenomena. But as the lyrics continue, you start to realize that he’s just pissed he didn’t get laid. Taking advantage of traditional instrumentation, Marz the Superior lays down an awesomely fresh track. Ending with the phrases “Fuck that hoe” and “Lust is not Love”, the track is a curve ball.
