Thanks by The Sun Hits is that menacing kind of dark rock that only rubs you with lo-fi thoughts upon first listen. Upon digging deeper, peeling the layers, you begin to understand the layered complexities within the song structures and the affirmative will for apathy. There is an interweaving between the grunge aesthetic that they are so ambitiously trying to capture and the love for structure they so naturally display.
