Jane Eyre is a mystery machine revolving door of what should be pure indie goodness. Somehow it all comes out backwards. Caught between a vocal lead that takes getting used to (as some of the best do) and a song structure that seems to follow all the rules of rock and roll without adhering to anything viable, ‘Home Alone 2: Lost in New York‘ is one of the more relaxed and fluid tracks in the genre.
