My Guess

3984775331-1My Guess by Thought-Fox   (Dublin, Ireland)

Listen to some jazz, it’s good for you. This jazz is explorative with moments of free form, clear resolution, and pattern; it is veracious. Lauren Kinsella, displays a playful scat and a smooth sultry whimsy about her vocal styling. Thought-Fox seducings the listener, teasing with an interplay of down low and slow n upbeat repeat, relax and enjoy. Don’t over intellectualize, it is just jazz. It’s for smoky bars, late nights, drunken affairs, and after hours strolls, to keep you warm, mesmerize,  and titillate. @TheSnakeRecords

Fact Ain’t Truth

Fact Ain’t Truth by Mount Everest   (Massachusetts)

I found that while listening to Mount Everest, everything around me seemed to disappear. I was so enamored by just one song, I don’t understand how within a 3 minute period, you can feel so much spark run through your veins. ‘Fact Ain’t Truth’ isn’t complicated or minimal, it’s not even somewhere in the middle. It’s a mixture of it all. I never really thought about how nicely the blend of electro and acoustic would go together, but they really do. As per usual, I was drawn to the album art and thankfully I wasn’t disappointed. Mount Everest are genuinely a band of substance, I wish I could say that more often. Lovecat
