One of my most recent NYC finds is the insanely memorable Jesse Scheinin Band. I was first exposed to their contagious brand of experimental, jazz-infused indie rock at Evan Shinners’ New Cull; I was immediately attracted to their long winded, thoughtfully elaborate melodies. But don’t take my word for it, here’s their impromptu performance in Central Park.
