Cracktape by Pyke & Fargas (January 8, 2011)
Cracktape is the ‘cross genre’ mixtape from London based duo Pyke & Fargas. As they claim, the music itself is very genreless, but the vocals are always hip hop. It’s not a bad thing, it’s just a thing. And with that British accent, it’d hard not to see the character within this download.
‘Intimate Friends’ by Marz the Superior (July 22, 2011)
‘Intimate Friends’ starts as a smooth R&B love song, full of poetic device and ever intense on the rejection phenomena. But as the lyrics continue, you start to realize that he’s just pissed he didn’t get laid. Taking advantage of traditional instrumentation, Marz the Superior lays down an awesomely fresh track. Ending with the phrases “Fuck that hoe” and “Lust is not Love”, the track is a curve ball.

‘Brew Soul’ by Large King Canadians (February 15, 2011)
It’s always kind of hard to swallow two college white kids with a hip-hop project, and for a long time I’ve thought there must be one out there worth listening to. Well Large King Canadians is it; the production is classic and the lyrics are raw.
Back from the Dead by Blackjack (July 4, 2011)
It’s fucking ridiculous how many idiots get on Bandcamp and post their raps thinking they’re the next big thing. On the other hand, thank god they do, because every once in a while you strike gold, like Blackjack. The name of his game is production patience. No doubt its pop-rap, but the lyrics are perfectly honest and the flow is smooth making this debut LP a homerun; the production, as I said before, absolutely patient.

Nebensache by Grasime & D-Fekt (December 3, 2010)
For all I know, they’re chanting ‘Fuck Brooklyn’. Despite the fact that I’ll never understand any of these raps, there’s something oddly attractive about this German group’s flow. Worth every penny you wont spend on this free download. That’s how it’s done.
