Galleries by Pink Fur and the Black Coats (Brisbane, Australia)
Pink Fur and the Black Coats have released a hell of a debut EP. Galleries has me dancing in my chair and has my roommates peaking out their doors asking “Who is that, it’s f**king awesome.” Really great two piece bands don’t surface very often nowadays but when they do I just want to grab them and listen to them until my ears bleed. Pink Fur and the Black Coats fuzzy garage rock sound has planted itself in my head and I can feel it taking root. I even decided to read the lyrics and I nearly got knocked off my feet. “Why be sane when the world is wild?”(‘Dane Till Death’). Dammit, I love rock and roll. @LeahLovecat
