Unhappybirthday is a pop dance electric trio from Germany. Their first full length release Sirup from independent label Crash Symbols is self described dope fuck music. It’s super synthed out, with that high energy new wave drive. The electro beats pull you in, the German lyrics keep the pace, and the synth out rhythm section holds it down. The track ‘Lotion’ really defines the sound, bringing together the new wave and the old wave.
