Drunk Mums by Drunk Mums (Melbourne, Australia)
I have to be honest, I didn’t know whether or not to click on this one. There was that fear of the unknown that was brought on just by looking at the naked torso of a women. I figured it could very easily go two ways and it just so happened to go the way I was hoping. Drunk Mums is full of high energy rock and roll. The kind that makes you want to jump around, get sweaty, fall on the floor. Drunk Mums remind me of The Hives. They have that same quick pace that gets you going. You can’t just listen to this album and not want to take action, it’s made for a night of wild fun. I sit here wishing that at this very moment I could get crammed into a tiny room with 200 other people and Drunk Mums playing loudly just for us. We jump and sweat and sing at the top of our lungs. It’s the kind of night that doesn’t happen nearly as much as it should. @LeahLovecat
