When I listen to Novella’s EP, I almost feel as if I’m listening to the Empire Records soundtrack. It has that effortlessly cool vibe that so many wish they could achieve. It’s punky and mellow and wonderfully badass. Hollie Warrens smooth vocals do circles in your head, wrapping around your brain before finally exiting out the other ear. The London based band make you long for those autumn afternoons where you can turn the volume to 10 and just gaze out your window.
