Mykki Blanco: soundcloud icon, DIY enthusiast, eccentric performer and all around contemporary philosopher. The name is synonymous with cross dressed videos, purposefuly tainted vocal lines (literally spit at you) and waning poetics that put the artist, himself, into a smaller and smaller theoretical system. This isn’t a process of segregation, exactly the opposite, it’s the fine tuning of an artform emerging in our modern audio landscape- it’s the fine tuning of an artform that requires extremes to prove points.
