Pretty American by Cold Fronts (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania)
Part of me wants to call this a properly misguided Strokes, a somewhat purposefully lazy effort to emulate a tone and timbre that capture a minimal mood. Pretty American is most importantly movable. And, although those movements are distant and parallel to a traditional rock structure, Cold Fronts brings solitude in their own brand.
