‘METONYMY’ by Turnip King (Sea Cliff, New York)
The mogwaic ways of New York’s Turnip King pull chord progressions through typically intolerable time frames. But, the underlying sincerety that drives the overtone change allows the artists to really open up, burning through the track; a track made up, at the core, of very simple elements. From laid back beach vibes to twisted drug-induced murder scene, ‘METONYMY‘ is a head rush. One that only needs a rival in further elaboration. @Dingusonmusic
