The first full LP from NYC rock and rollers Viva Mayday is as powerful as promised with hidden nuggets of ripe tone adjustment littered throughout.  Sticking to their guns, the group delivers Consuela as a testament to a sound that’s been in their blood for years; constantly developing while remaining truthful to some original sin.  Frontman Jafe Paulino makes it personal, transcribing a live show personality from the venue to record flawlessly.  The album needs a soapbox as it preaches a very real message on par with the spirit of the times.  @Dingusonmusic
