Restraint by Orca Team (Seattle, Washington) *
I feel so honored and priviledged to be able to write about Orca Team’s latest release, Restraint. A beautiful and inspired album, Restraint is full of 60′s-esque beachy songs that come dripping in charming melodies and a slight sense of heartache. Orca Team are so smooth, crisp, magnetic, I found myself becoming attracted to each song, forming a tight bond. Songs like ‘Too Busy To Love Me’ had me adjusting in my seat, an almost word for word page out of my mental journal. Ever since I started listening to Orca Team, I’ve been anxiously waiting for this release and I feel they have gone so above and beyond. Restraint is so utterly pure in motive. Orca Team have created a stunning album that is made for cool mornings, dark nights and every place in between. It’s easy for me to ramble but I’ll stop and let these songs speak for themselves. @LeahLovecat
