Sisään-ulos by Vain Muutama Pisamasi (Finland)
Garage rock from Finland isn’t really something I have ever experienced. Now that I got a little taste, I can honestly say, I rather enjoy it. ‘Sisään-ulos’ is so stripped down but still holds a strong sense of rock. I tried my best to translate and decipher the lyrics and from what I gather, it’s a song about someone scorned by another. The minimal garage sound makes the subject seem even more magnetic. You don’t seem to care that you don’t understand the lyrics, in one way or another you know the feeling and you’re just happy you can find a song to express it in another language.
