Dear friends, colleagues and fellow musicians.  This is Dingus writing you from Indonesia.  I hope you have been enjoying the lovely Lovecat’s solo curation of the blog in my absence.  There isn’t a single person more dedicated to the DIY scene than she is (except for the rest of the Dingus staff).  I do apologize profusely for my disappearance, but it’s been years since I’ve sat in the sun, without a worry on my mind.  On June 6th, when I return to the only place I will ever call home, the greatest city on the face of this planet, and my constant source of inspiration and motivation: New York City, the DIY team that serves you will be making some major transitions.  Primarily, we will be moving into our first official office space, something I’ve dreamed of since conception.  Secondarily, we will be working day and night to pull our professional services more tightly together to offer you a more concise, detailed and rigorous view of the Global DIY Music Scene as we address our organization with the help and expertise of some more loyal friends (more details to come).  As much as I love vacation, I miss you all dearly and cannot wait to return.  Until then, I’ll be chillin.  Dingus
