I felt a lot like Monty Python’s version of the Spanish Inquisition when trying to count my favorite Mama Coco’s Funky Kitchen bands, unable to settle.  In the end, I think I’ll rest on a five way tie for favorite between:  Ghost Pal, Sons of an Illustrious Father, The Harmonica Lewinskies, The Great American Novel and now, Goodman (how could you even begin to pick sides?).  Goodman, like all great musicians, ties her personality, temper and life so deeply to his music that without him, there is nothing.  Goodman, like all great musicians, uses the past to propel himself into the future, innovating, twisting and breathing life back into a loved genre.  Goodman, like all great musicians, is a great musician.  Dingus
