Classic Girl by Deidre & The Dark   (Brooklyn, New York) *

As I was chatting with my new found friend, Shaw Walters (Starlight Girls), he brought up a band that I should listen to: Deidre & The Dark. I usually find it difficult to trust other peoples judgement about music but I had a feeling I could trust Shaw. I was so taken back with how much I liked Deidre & The Dark. Everything about Deidre, I love. Maybe it’s her 60′s girl group style, her way of creating something so enjoyable in under 3 minutes. Whatever it is, I have become starry eyed and my ears won’t stop buzzing. ‘Classic Girl’ is a hip shaker, there is proof below in video form. Lovecat
