Black National Demo EP by Boys (Missoula, Montana)
Immediatly drawn to the simple photograph of open space, I was crossing my fingers for something my ears would find pleasing. Boys did not dissapoint. The Black National Demo EP full of garage rock fuzz and short two minute songs that leave you thirsting for more. Boys scratchy vocals and the ever so welcomed use of the tambourine are remarkably appealing and raw. There is something so unprocessed about this EP. It’s as if you’re listening to it live, rattling out of a comfortably cramped garage. I chose to showcase ‘Parapets’ for I feel it best represents this idea, though, I would personally love to listen to each song in a cramped garage. Lovecat
