Low Slow Needle by The Underground Youth (October 17, 2011)
The Underground Youth set loose songs meant for late night listening on their garage EP, Low Slow Needle. Songs that seem beautifully depressing erupt straight from the Manchester band. I find myself winding down to the seducing ‘Midnight Lust’ and I know that these songs were meant to be kept from the light the morning brings. These are nighttime songs, racy and piercing.
