Forer by Steel Phantoms (July 14, 2011)
I had high hope’s for Steel Phantom’s Forer. I was attracted to the album cover pretty quickly and had my finger’s crossed that I would love their music as much as I did the album art. I did. I was swiftly swept up by the polished vocals and the shoegazy guitars. Steel Phantom’s music is saturated with charm and an underlying allure. I felt ‘Danger Wave’ was the standout track, it’s moody, melodic and enamoring. Honestly, we could do with a bit more moody music. The grey’s and blue’s that are laced underneath are a wonderful thing. Lovecat
