Sounds of the City Sheffield by Various Artists (April 29, 2011) *
Love it when a compilation is so good that I have to put four tracks up, but truly, Sounds of the City Sheffield is one of the best indie rock gatherings I’ve heard in years. Popping off some of the turn of the century sounds (think Bloc Party), Sheffield just made it’s way onto my list of underground music scenes to get too asap. To the Sounds of the City crew, keep it up.
