Violet Snowflakes

‘Violet Snowflakes’ by Beat-Off-Silence   (January 11, 2012)

Shimmering funk laced with a pococurante attitude, ‘Violet Snowflakes’ always moves while still soothing.  The steady rhythm works in the songs favor, pushing it through the constitutional framework and driving it over the edge.  The song, unlike its aesthetic suggestions, does, indeed, swell.  Peaking out with a stereotypical synth if a nice way to tie off the end, dynamically thoughtful and downright danceable.
