Waves Hit Hard/The Current Swept Me Out by Giant Octopus   (October 30, 2011)

Jesus Christ.  A guy thinks he’s gonna get a break sometime but not when Oliver Ignatius is your facebook friend (add him, tell him I told you to).  Fresh from the oven, that is, Mama Coco’s oven, Giant Octopus releases their introductory two track capturing deep feelings of swing in a blues aesthetic.  It’s hard to differentiate the 9′s and the 10′s, which is why we’d never try to rate music that way, so all I can really tell you is this:  These kids can do no wrong (at least not until Pepsi sponsors them).
