This is Your Vomit Pop

This is Your Vomit Pop by Harvey Eyeballs   (October 10, 2011) *

The new Harvey Eyeballs record is a departure from an original, reserved sound, a departure that puts Fox Schwach in the spotlight highlighting his unconventional, horor movie cast sound.  Making a statement (I’m not really sure what it is) about pop music, This is Your Vomit Pop seems, from the title, like a disappointed backlash.  Taking a turn for the more progressive, James Murphy type progressive, its ‘Hiya’ that pushes the album over the edge and comes as a long awaited release for the musician compositionally.  It’s a track that is a pleasure to experience.
