Wind-Up Bird by Wind-Up Bird (May 1, 2011)
Last weekend I was introduced to New York based band Wind-Up Bird by Jake Harms, lead singer of Nelsonvillains. If the album had been given to me any other way, I might not have given it the proper time to develop before posting it but when Harms gives you a recommendation, you better pay attention. Part of that north-of-the-city posse that includes Porches and others, Wind-Up is a similarly paced project when compared with its immediate peers. I wont be surprised when somebody up their gets the bright idea to form a netlabel to help market their sound.
