CS01 by Conn-Shawnery (July 19, 2011)
Thoughtfully mixed (and I assume sampled) the first Conn-Shawnery disc does not fall short. Featuring ambitious rappers, CS01 delivers an interesting mix of beats and instrumentals that sets the stage for some sincere motives. They draw on progressive as well as traditional latin influences for the album but present it contemporarily. ’Shum Shum’ is clearly the highlight off the album (in my opinion). Somehow, it retains classic timbres while remaining completely filthy.
